September turned out to be an unbelievable month of travel, learning, and fresh adventures! From connecting behind the scenes with incredible travel industry partners to exploring the open road and sailing through Alaska, the month was packed with experiences, inspiration, and memories. 🤝✨📲💡

On the Road & At Sea: My September Travel Recap 🗓️

  • September 12th – 17th | Industry Connections & Agency Growth ✈️

I headed out to connect with host agency The Wander Network for an incredible week of networking and learning. I had the opportunity to build direct relationships with major cruise lines, top-tier travel insurance providers, luxury hotels, and tour operators.

From collaborating with fellow travel advisors to learning fresh social media strategies and discovering new tools for my clients, I came home with even more knowledge, connections, and resources to help me create exceptional travel experiences for my clients!

  • September 18th – 20th | Central Texas RV Camping 🚐🔥

I traded suitcase travel for campsite views and took our new fifth-wheel RV out to Central Texas for a relaxing weekend retreat.

After a busy week of networking and learning, it was the perfect opportunity to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and recharge. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that let you simply unplug and enjoy the moment!

  • September 26th – October 3rd | Alaskan Cruise on the Norwegian Bliss 🚢🦅🏔️🧊🐋

I set sail aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Bliss for an unforgettable journey through Alaska’s stunning Inside Passage.

From breathtaking glaciers and incredible coastal scenery to unforgettable wildlife encounters, this trip gave me valuable firsthand experience aboard the ship and in the destination. I’m bringing those insights home so I can better help my clients plan their own unforgettable Alaskan adventures.

✨ September was definitely one for the books! I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities to learn, explore, connect, and experience these destinations firsthand—and I can’t wait to put everything I learned to work for my clients!

October is looking amazing in different ways.

Why use a Travel Agent?

I don't want to just book it for you.

Yes, you can book a trip on your own. I am not here to just book your trip. I want to save you hours of research, decision fatigue, and the stress of managing everything when plans change.

I will turn a complex, time-consuming chore into a seamless experience. The true value comes down to three key areas:

1. Insider Access & Perks You Can't Click

Online booking engines give everyone the exact same public rates and basic amenities. I bring exclusive industry networks to the table:

  • Room Upgrades & Extras: Complimentary room upgrades, free daily breakfast, early check-in/late check-out, and resort credits (e.g., $100 spa or dining credit) that aren't available through public booking sites.

  • Vetted Partners: Instead of relying on filtered online reviews, I work directly with trusted tour operators, private drivers, and boutique properties I know personally.

  • Special Inventory: Access to sold-out rooms, cruise cabin holds, and custom group rates that don't appear on standard search engines.

2. Time Saved & Human Expertise

The average traveler spends over 10 to 20 hours reading reviews, comparing flight times, and piecing together daily logistics.

  • Tailored Itineraries: Rather than a cookie-cutter "Top 10" list, an advisor designs an itinerary around your specific pacing, budget, and travel style.

  • Logistical Precision: Connecting transfers, rail passes, entry visas, and multi-city routing are handled seamlessly without the guesswork.

3. Real Advocacy When Things Go Wrong

This is where my value becomes undeniable. When a flight is canceled, a storm hits, or a hotel loses a reservation:

  • No Call Center Hold Times: Instead of waiting hours on hold with an airline, you send one text or call to me.

  • Priority Resolution: I have direct manager contacts at hotels, cruise lines, and airlines, tour operators allowing them to rebook you or resolve issues far faster than an individual consumer can.
